FLINT SOUTHWESTERN ACADEMY: 8
The Durand Railroaders evened their record at 3-3 with a 56-8 Homecoming victory over Flint. Brayden Kelley led the Railroader offense by going 5-5 passing for 128 yards and 3 touchdowns. Two of those touchdowns went to junior Darius Aldrich who hauled in those two receptions for 76 yards. Gaven Brewer led the Durand rushing attack going for 131 yards on 9 carries and 2 touchdowns. Hayden Simmons went for 56 yards on 6 carries and added an 11-yard touchdown reception. Defensively the Railroaders were led by Caden Holbrook who had 7 tackles, 2 tackles for loss and a sack. Brewer added 4 tackles along with a sack. Trent Ackerman and Landon Nierescher had interceptions for the Railroaders. Durand travels to Chesaning next week to take on the Indians in a MMAC battle.
