The Railroaders lost a tough contest to open the season. Carver Purdy led the offense with 44 yards on 7 carries while Drew Alward carried the ball 8 times for 37 yards. Brayden Kelley chipped in 23 yards and a touchdown for Durand. The defense pitched in a 2nd half shutout and was led by Cameron Bacchus with 8 tackles, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and an interception. Alward chipped in with 6 tackles.
