NEW LOTHROP HIGH SCHOOL: 29
The Durand Railroaders lost a hard fought 29-12 decision to New Lothrop on Friday evening. Drew Alward led the offense with 76 yards on 7 carries with 2 touchdowns. Levi Smith added 49 yards on 10 carries. Defensively the Railroaders were led by Caden Holbrook with 8 tackles, 1 sack and an interception. Smith and Gaven Brewer each added 8 tackles and a TFL as well for Durand while Alward chipped in with 6 stops. The loss drops Durand’s record to 3-5 on the season. They travel to Marine City next week to wrap up the regular season.
